Then the podcast crew jumps into the Oscar nominations discussing what movies got nominated for Best Movie, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best animated feature. Pete takes the opportunity to review Django Unchained (nominated for Best Picture 2013) and the podcast crew debates the merits of the media’s outrage at the use of the “N Word” in the movie.

Moving from movies the crew talks about the television series they have been watching over the break including The Wire, Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, and Oz.
